Dusty as in "dustyding, Kat?  I'm here now trying to raise up a few dust clouds--so where are you?

p.s. How's the minimac doing these days?  Having fun yet?:-)  I'm posting in here via my Thinkpad, which, at long last, is doing fine on broadband.  Now if only I could get an Acronis back-up of the OS on my finally whistle clean external hard drive.  I _think_ Ive got a back-up on my "hidden partition," thanks to my doing one with the help of IBM. e/mem

Hi again, Donald, and any others who might be reading these "test" messages~I'm posting this from my Thinkpad laptop pc, via my Comcast cable broadband connection (slowest Comcast sells, but mighty speedy for slow ole' me!) and everything in this forum looks sooo much better on the Thinkpad's screen, than it did just a few minutes ago on my webtv screen!  Now I'm liking this forum a lot more!:-)  e/mem

I'm here and reading your "test" message just fine, Donald.  Now let's see if this manages to actually post as a reply.  I followed CB's e-mailed instructions on how to "get in" here, so we'll see. e/memories

I just wanted to stop in to say thank you, for all for your sentiments.

I want to share with you, about the day Bert was put to rest, as he wanted.

He loved to fish the Umpqua River. He went everyday, and never caught a thing, and was determined he would catch a big one someday. As I scattered his ashes acrossed the river, a large salmon jumped high out of the water. It was one of the most beautiful sights. As if he had finally caught that "big one", he had always dreamed of catching. Of course, it was a very emotional moment for me. One I will never forget.

Oh, wow.  I suspect this forum may be history soon?  Our good man Bert has died.

Goodbye, our friend.  Thanks for this forum, and everything else you have done for us.

Rest in peace.

Nice to see somebody wanderin'.  ;-)

I come by here once in a blue moon.  I don't howl, I just look at it.  ;-O
